2008 Scholarship Recipients 
 
Kyle Rector, Mike’s Express Carwash, Indianapolis, IN
GPA: 3.9
Kyle’s father works at Mike’s Express Carwash in Indianapolis, IN.  He has learned many lessons from his father’s involvement in the industry like patience, determination, and organization.  Kyle is planning to attend Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Fall 2008.

Benjamin Steines, Miracle Car Wash, Dubuque, IA
GPA: 3.76
Benjamin has worked in the industry for two years and understands that a car is the customers’ second largest investment and it is important to handle with care.  He strives in customer service and excels in conflict resolution.  Benjamin will be attending the University of Northern Iowa in Fall 2008.

Daniel Analoro, AutoBell Car Wash, Concord, NC
GPA: 3.25
During Daniel’s time at AutoBell Car Wash he has learned many lessons including treating customers with respect and handling customer service situations that arise at a wash.  He gains a sense of accomplishment and respect for the industry.  Daniel will be pursuing a degree in Business Management at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the fall.

Emily Kosobucki, Delta Sonic Car Wash, Erie, PA
GPA: 4.1
After four years in the professional carwash industry Emily is excited to take skills she learned and apply them to her college career.  She plans to become a physical therapist and is attending Gannon University in the fall.

Scott Estes, AutoBell Car Wash, Huntersville, NC
GPA: 2.96
Scott is currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an assistant manager at AutoBell Car Wash.  He is planning to graduate in 2009 with a degree in business management and hopes to continue his career at AutoBell.

Sophia Singer, Mike’s Carwash, Cincinnati, OH
GPA: 4.0
Sophia has been involved in community service campaigns to raise money for leukemia and lymphoma and was President of the 4-H Club. She has learned how to handle many different situations especially in customer service during her time at Mike’s.  She is planning to attend Penn State in the fall.
