Did you know that according to a recent survey by the International Car Wash Association, nearly two in five car owners report having gotten their cars professionally washed for a date? Love is in the air, and recognizing your popularity in (local city), we would like to offer you the opportunity to participate in a romantic co-promotion with us.
(Car wash) is starting a monthly car wash promotion called “Friday Night Date Specials,” during which we will offer incentives to our customers to get their cars professionally washed before their weekends begin.
As part of our monthly promotion, we’d like to give away gift certificates to a select handful of other local establishments that provide the best “date options” (local city) offers. We’re looking for one partner of each type of business: restaurant, movie theatre, movie rental, and bowling. You are our first choice of restaurant partner because of your excellent cuisine, atmosphere and client service – all very important aspects to a great date.
If you agree to participate in our “Friday Night Pre-Date Special” promotion, you will receive:
• Visibility in our shop and exposure to our customers. We will proudly display your name on our message boards and/or display an ad of yours. We serve hundreds of customers every week who will notice our promotion of your restaurant.
• Increased patronage, as a result of redeemed gift-certificates and positive consumer word-of-mouth discussions.
• Possible media visibility, since we may approach the media to suggest a story on dating tips (along the lines of “Advance planning is key to making a positive impression. Get the car washed, make dinner reservations…” etc.)
Ideally, we would like you to donate four to six dinner gift certificates, each with an approximate value to cover dinner for two. The goal of our monthly date promotion is to award one customer per month with a free car wash/detail and a certificate to one of our partners.
